Vets

Matthew Flann
BVetMed MRCVS

Matthew graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1999 and has been in small animal veterinary practice ever since.
He has been working within Pennard Veterinary Group since 1999, mainly based at Eton veterinary Clinic, Tonbridge, of which he has been 'head vet' since 2006.

He has a keen interest in cardiology from the perspective of general practice.
He is married with three children and two dogs all of who keen him when not at work, Matt's main hobby and escape is cycling whenever time permits, having undertaken some longer distance events.


Caroline Collins
BVetMed GP Cert FeLP MRCVS

Caroline qualified in 2002 from The Royal Veterinary College (London).
Straight from university, Caroline travelled to South Africa to spend
time doing voluntary work with small animals as well as wildlife
including big cats. She then spent 18months at Davison Veterinary
Surgeons in Nottingham working with horses and small animals, before
joing Eton Veterinary Clinic.

Carolines particular interests include surgery and anaesthesia, and
she completed her GP Certificate in Feline Practice in 2008.


 

Clare Denny
BVetMed (Hons)MRCVS

Claire qualified from The Royal Veterinary College (London) in 2010.
She spent 12 months working as a Houseman in a busy practice in
Birmingham, before moving closer to home to Etons, a practice which
she has known for a number of years. Claire has a keen interest in
cardiology and medicine.

Outside of work Claire enjoys spending time horse riding, and with
Pheobe her naughty cat who is a new addition to the family

 

Keri Holmes
BVETMED MRCVS


Keri qualified from The Royal Veterinary College (london) in 2010. She spent 6 months locuming in the South East of England and then moved to the New Forest for 6 months before taking on a permanent position at Eton Veterinary Clinic.

She enjoys all aspects of the job but is particularly interested in medicine and diagnostic imaging. In her spare time she
enjoys walking, cycling and zumba.

Keri has a cat called Peaches who she rescued from RAIN in 2010. Peaches is full of character and is always getting her nose into something!

 


Nurses

Ellie Cross - Head Nurse
RVN

Ellie started veterinary nursing in 1997 at a practice in Eastbourne where she was originally from. Ellie qualified as a veterinary nurse in January 2002. In March 2005 she joined Etons as the Head Nurse. Ellie enjoy all aspects of her job which is very varied, being a head nurse. Ellie is responsible for a team of 5 veterinary nurses who are all extremly hardworking and caring.

Ellie is married and have a daughter who keeps her very busy when she is not at work. Ellie has two border terriers, a rather accident prone lurcher and a business of ferrets that she also looks after.

Ellie enjoys country pursuits and spending time with her family and she loves her snowboarding holidays when she can get them.

 


Claire Ross
RVN

Claire joined Etons in 2002 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2006. Previous to this she worked as a student nurse at a mixed practice. Claire's main role at the practice is clinic work, but she enjoys all aspects of nursing.

Claire is married and has no children but her three collies, outside of work, keep her very busy. 

Claire enjoys being out and about in the country and enjoy rural life.

 

 

Michelle Butler (aka Kat)
RVN

Kat started working at Etons in 2002, after always wanting to be a vet nurse since she was little. Kat started college a year and a half later and finally qualified in 2008. Kat loves her job and all the hard work that goes with it. Kat really enjoys meeting new clients every day and still after 9 years is always learning.

At home Kat lives with her soon to be husband as of 2012 and a few pets. She has 2 cats, Cheeky Monkey and Adora, a little x-bred dog, Tilly and have had many hamsters over the years with the most original names (at the moment it is Hermies) and some goldfish. In Kat's spare time, she loves going to the cinema and eating out with friends, as well as enjoying walking the dog.


Natalie Croft
RVN

Natalie (Nat) joined Etons in July 2005 and later qualified as a
Veterinary Nurse in September 2008. Previously she worked for HMRC but had
always wanted to work with animals.
She currently works part-time as her husband, young son and two Border
Terriers Jax & Chewie keep her busy at home. She enjoys spending time with
family and friends and generally being out and about.

 

Chrissie Baker

RVN

Chrissie has always had a keen interest in veterinary nursing, inspired by
the different animals she had when she was growing up.
She began nursing in June 2009 following studying Animal Management at
Hadlow College.
Chrissie joined Pennard Vets Tonbridge in February 2011 and has recently passed all her exams and is now a fully Qualifed Veterinary Nurse.
Upon Qualifying, she hopes to go on to study towards a diploma in Medical
Nursing as she has a keen interest in the specific area of nursing.
In her spare time she enjoys going out for meals, spending time with
friends and going on holidays.

She lives in Tonbridge with her rescued domestic short haired silver tabby
kitten 'Teddy'.
